Break Thru was contracted to demolish the back half of this smaller building that the existing steel was structural compromised. This part of the building was added as an addition and was built directly on an elevated slab and the walls were bearing on curb.
Building Demolition Chicago
This project required a unique approach to protect our workers and to prevent any damage to the existing Weiner Circle structure to remain that it was attached too. This crew essentially cut the building in half and rolled the structure backwards with machinery. We are experts in building demolition Chicago!
Challenges and Fun Facts:
- Entering the back half of the structure was risky, the crew had to come up with a plan to perform all their work from the outside.
- This crew did not get free hot dogs for lunch, unfortunately. Although they deserved it for the ingenuity!
- Marshmello performed a concrete on top of this roof after the project was completed.
