Break Thru was contracted to create precast openings along the perimeter of the first floor of a building downtown Chicago. Right outside of the back half of this building is CTA train tracks.
Chicago Window Removal
We needed to come up with a game plan to cut and pull sections of the exterior wall inward and ensure no debris fell onto the tracks. This project was fun and unique, this crew knocked it out of the park safely and on time!
Challenges and Fun Facts:
- We created openings at 40 bays of the 1st
- As we opened up the bays of the backside of the building we opened up amazing views of the city!
