Break Thru was contracted to demolish and remove a conference and amenity center consisting of meeting/conference center, locker rooms, racket ball court, and office space. There were various areas that had 2 story deck heights. The renovation for the new amenity center sprawled 40,000 square feet over 3 floors. Our crews successfully completed the project on time and without incident.
Challenges and Fun Facts:
- The Racket Ball court was on the 10th floor of the building. Demolishing the surrounding walls required heightened safety precautions, as the walls extended to the deck of the 12th floor.
- Racket Ball Court and Conference Center ceiling heights were 25’ tall.
- Our team utilized one of our various sized demolition robots, as well as a battery powered mini skid steer to assist with this project.
